About
I work full time on Cana, a suite of wedding planning tools for Catholic engaged couples. It brings together the things I care about most: my faith, careful work, and serving people well at an important time in their lives.
Before Cana, I spent about four years as a QA engineer. That work taught me to sweat the details, chase down root causes, and bring Lean Six Sigma thinking to how a team builds things. I still think that way. Before that, I worked in parish youth ministry, which is where most of my writing comes from. The full story is on my resume.
I also build websites, mostly with Nuxt, with a focus on being fast and easy to find in search. This site is one of them.
When I’m not at a keyboard, I’m usually outside, on a trail or a chasing my kids around.

Music
Making music with others.
I play piano and guitar, and my favorite way to play is jamming with other people. I’ve written a little music of my own, too. Now and then I play for Mass, sometimes on less expected instruments.
